Question: Pairing with my mobile phone does not work. What can I do?

Answer: On the one hand, you can restart the BT part of the CP740BMW (select menu "BT Settings" > "BT Reset" and press). On the other hand, you can switch BT on your phone off and on again, or restart the phone completely.

Question: After connecting to the mobile phone, "BT Status" only shows a number for Audio. What now?

Answer: The phone is still establishing the connection. Leave the "BT Status" menu, wait a few more seconds and open it again.

The displayed values are only updated once, when the menu is opened. After leaving and reopening it, you will therefore see the current status.

Question: "Message" is not paired. What can I do?

Answer: The CP740BMW does not have permission to read your messages. When your phone displays the prompt "Allow CP740BMW to read messages", make sure that you tap "Allow". Then perform a "BT Reset" (select menu "BT Settings" > "BT Reset" and press).

Question: Suddenly nothing is played any more.

Answer: Connect the USB stick to a computer and run a disk check ("Error checking" in Windows). Delete the INDEX folder on the USB stick and try again.
